The patient has an abdominal mass. What do you do if the mass is too large on ultrasound to check the origin and through radiology it is not clear? Which modality can we use? This lecture will focus on the mass effect, location, echotexture to increase the accuracy of diagnostic imaging to localize and decide the treatment planning for these patients. The advantage and limitations of each modality will be discussed. Other topics such as when it is safe to biopsy the lesion and when removal is indicated first will also be addressed.
