The full webinar series consists of 12 webinars. The lectures are accompanied by written material, question sets for self-study and discussion boards.

"Certificate of Knowledge in Foundations of Dermatology"

Full Program Schedule

This program comprises of a mix of recorded and live webinar sessions. Live webinars are scheduled every Friday on dates below, at 10:30 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB), 10:30 AM in Bangkok (BKK),  11:30 AM in Philippines (PH), 11:30 AM in Malaysia (MY), and 9:00 AM in India (IST).

Dr. Charli Dong
DVM, Diplomate ACVD

Pasadena, California, USA

Dr. Charli Dong earned her degree in veterinary medicine from Western University of Health Sciences. She completed her residency at Animal Dermatology Clinic and became a boarded dermatologist in 2016. She currently practices in Pasadena, California.
She was the recipient of the Resident Research Award in Clinical Science, so you can ask her all about ringworm! Her special interests include atopic dermatitis, dermoscopy, video-otoscopy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, hair-growth, and clinical research. Her goal is always to strive to improve the lives of our beloved companions.
Dr. Dong lectures nationally and internationally, sharing her passion in dermatology with veterinarians. She is a clinical preceptor for senior veterinary students, an instructor for the European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies, and recently served as the examination chair on the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) Exam Committee. She trains residents and veterinary students, which she loves because learning goes both ways!
Dr. Dong speaks Cantonese and hopes to improve her Mandarin.

Dr. Kimby Lo
DVM, Diplomate ACVD

Tustin, California, USA

Dr. Kimby Lo graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 with an award for her proficiency in dermatology. Prior to accepting a residency position at Animal Dermatology Clinic, she completed a one year rotating internship at VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Lo obtained Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) in 2016. She currently practices in Tustin, CA with the Animal Dermatology Clinic. She is passionate about all things skin and brachycephalic dogs, which often go hand in hand.

Dr. Chaiyot Tanrattana
DVM, M.Sc., DASVCD, DTBVM

Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand

Dr. Chaiyot Tanrattana obtained his Veterinary Medicine degree from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. In addition, he obtained a Master degree in Physiology from Mahidol University. He has held the position of lecturer at the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University. He successfully obtained a comprehensive certificate in veterinary dermatology from the European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies. He has board certifications in veterinary dermatology from the Asian Veterinary Clinical Dermatology (ASVCD) and in veterinary internal medicine from the Diplomate of the Thai Board of Veterinary Medicine (DTBVM).

Yes, you have 1 year of access to the recordings counts from your registration date.

2. When does the registration close?

The registration to this course will be closed on 12 July 2024 Central European Summer Time.

3. When do the live webinars take place?

Live webinars are scheduled every on the mentioned dates above, every 10:30 AM Western Indonesia Time (WIB), 10:30 AM in Bangkok (BKK), 11:30 AM in Philippines (PH), 11:30 AM in Malaysia (MY), and 9:00 AM in India (IST).

4. Can I get access to the exam without booking the full webinar series?

To get access to the exam it is mandatory to be registered for the full webinar series as the exam will include questions out of each webinar. You need to be enrolled in each webinar, but it is up to you if you book the full series or you book each webinar independently.
