Alison Masyr graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed two internships—the first in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, and the second in Medical Oncology and Clinical Trials from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Masyr completed a Master of Science and a Medical Oncology residency from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She achieved ACVIM diplomate status that same year.
Dr. Masyr joined the faculty at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022, where she is currently a clinical track Assistant Professor in Medical Oncology in the Small Animal Clinical Sciences Department. Her research interests focus on tumor metabolomics, novel therapeutics, and clinical trials.
