Rule of Juvenile Radiograph as Screening in a Canine Patient Predisposed to Develop Hip and Elbow Dysplasia
Several breeds of medium to large dogs are strongly predisposed to develop elbow and hip dysplasia during their first year of age. Several studies have shown that recognizing the predisposing factor for these conditions at a young age could prevent further development of osteoarthrosis and severe degenerative changes. This lecture will be focused on the radiographic timing and technique to have a proper screening in these patients.
